At the end of this day there was a heaping pile of dead animals but the killing was not yet over. Napoleon later killed a group of hens that conspired to kill him and even killed the hardest working and very loyal, Boxer the work horse. In my opinion this is the saddest thing that has happened in the book. Boxer only wanted to help others and all of the animals on the farm looked up to him. Napoleon Manipulated Boxer and took advantage of his never ending will to work harder. Napoleon killed boxer because he was no longer to use and because he questioned Napoleon's campaign. The laws of Animal Farm are altered in horrible ways to give Napoleon more power.

The Worst Part of Animal Farm
I feel that the worst and most disturbing part of animal farm was when Napoleon executed many of the animals on the farm. He did this because they had "betrayed" Animal Farm. The killing of these animals was triggered because earlier in the week the hens had refused to obey his orders: they must give more eggs to Napoleon. He would kill any hen that disobeyed and any animal that helped a hen. Many animals confessed to helping the hens or to other petty wrong doings. These animals were executed in front of all of the other animals and were a demonstration of both Napoleons power and the consequences of disobeying.

Freewrite/Insight: Animal Farm
I have been enjoying reading Animal Farm. The characters are strong and well developed. I like the fact that the author George Orwell gave the characters many human traits and gave these traits to animals that symbolize them. for instance the pigs are smart and the dogs are loyal. My favorite thing about this book is that the animals represent real people from The Russian Revolution.
The entire book is based on The Russian Revolution. Everything that happens in the book resembles what happened in the revolution and all of the characters are based on people that were involved with it. Animalism resembles Communism and in the book the pig Napolian becomes greedy and tries to gain more power just as Leon Trotsky did, during his rule, during the Russian Revolution. This book teaches The Revolution.
